Gak kerasa, bentar lagi udah mau tahun baru aja. Kayaknya baru kemaren main petasan kayak orang gila di depan rumah, dan kayaknya baru kemaren ngerayain kelulusan SMA. Dunia begitu cepat bergulir ya. Bentar lagi, gue akan menjadi seorang diaspora. Sang penyebar benih. Muhuhuhuhu.

Kalau dilihat jauh ke belakang, kehidupan gue tampaknya merana. Banyak peristiwa yang masih gue inget sampai sekarang. Dari nembak cewek pas lagi kerja kelompok di kelas, ngerasa pd karena dibilang ganteng, jadi maling kantin, jadi primadona di kelas, sempet punya cita-cita jadi maling, malem-malem diteror sama gunting silet, bikin kata-kata sensational yang akhirnya gue sesali sekarang. Penyesalan emang terjadi di akhir. Deyem.

Berbicara masa lalu, belakangan gue suka dengerin lagu yang berbau vintage gitu. Tepatnya, gue bosen sama lagu jaman sekarang yang didominasi sama lagu-lagu bak mawar yang tajem durinya. Disisi lain terlihat keren, tapi di satu sisi menyakitkan. Iya, lagu cinta semua. Lagu macam narkoba yang bikin lu galau selalu. Gak pernah bisa MOVE ON. So sad. Terkadang gue juga nyari lagu indie atau electro. Lumayan bisa jadi pelarian.

Nah, gue baru aja denger sebuah lagu. Lagu ini baru sih, salah satu lagu yang cukup sering diputer di salah satu radio, tapi lagu ini dikemas dalam balutan lagu vintage. Coba dengerin deh, gue sih suka banget sama karakter vokalnya. Gue bukan pengamat, tapi buat telinga orang awam kayak gue, ini enak pol.

Gue berasa kayak lagi di tahun 1940an, di kafe malam. Ditemani segelas martini dan cerutu, berbaju formal dan rambut klinis. Wuih, mantap. :)

Kalau lu main FIFA 14, pasti tau lagu ini. Gue juga tau dari FIFA 14. Ini salah satu lagu indie yang gue suka. Di Indonesia pun ada beberapa band indie yang gue suka, contohnya White Shoes and The Couples Company. Gue ada cd albumnya di rumah. Coba band indie Indonesia itu bisa dikenal masyarakat luas yang sekarang ini masih didominasi sama band cinta gak jelas yang sekali hits langsung hilang. Semoga. Hehehehe.

Uda ada yang tau belom, kalau Agnes Monica itu udah ngeluarin single internasionalnya? Gue juga baru tahu, beberapa hari yang lalu. Sejak dulu, Agnes udah sering banget bilang mau go international. Banyak yang bilang itu cuman asbun doang, gak pernah kesampean. Nyatanya sekarang KESAMPEAN. Lagunya diproduksi sama Timbaland. Iya, salah satu penyanyi yang ternama di U.S. sana.
